How it works

From request to quote in three steps.

Step 1

Tell it what needs doing

Paste your customer’s email, type a few lines or say it out loud. Photos and old quotes are welcome too.

Step 2

A complete quote with lines, quantities and prices. Next to every price you see where it came from.

Step 3

You check and send

Change what you like, then send it. Your customer accepts online and you see it straight away.

Watch a quote come together

An example from request to sent quote. All names and amounts are made up.

Demo in four steps. 1: the enquiry from Studio Vlinder is in the chat and Briefbee lines up the key facts. 2: the quote is there, five lines in your words and at your prices, with the source shown for each price (your old quotes, your price list, your hourly rate). 3: you answer the one question (is 73 m² right?) and add the line Scaffold tower hire from your catalogue. 4: you tap Approve and send, see the email to your customer and send it. A moment later Briefbee tells you the quote was accepted. Total € 2,794.50 incl. VAT.

Your words, your prices

It sounds like you. It prices like you.

  • Your own prices. From your price list, your old quotes and your hourly rate. If you do not have those yet, you start with the Briefbee standard: a fixed list of standard prices and norms. Never other customers’ prices.
  • Your way of writing. Briefbee learns from quotes you have already made.
  • You have the final say. Nothing goes to your customer until you approve it.

Frequently asked questions

Good to know.

What kind of work is Briefbee for?

Any trade where you write quotes: garden, building, painting, installation, and freelancers outside construction too. Briefbee pulls the work from your description, so there is no fixed list of trades.

Does Briefbee use my own prices?

Yes. Import your old quotes, price lists and catalogues, or enter your hourly rate. Every price shows where it came from. Without your own data you start with the Briefbee standard, a fixed list of standard prices and norms (no other customers’ prices). You adjust it yourself.

Which accounting software does it work with?

Briefbee connects to Moneybird, Informer and e-Boekhouden. You send an approved quote to your books with one click. If you use something else, download the quote as a PDF.

What language is the quote in?

Your customer’s. Briefbee follows the language of the request. You work in Dutch or English yourself.

Can Briefbee send something to my customer by itself?

No. Nothing goes to your customer until you have approved the quote and pressed send.

Is the AI trained on my data?

No. Your quotes and prices are not used to train AI models, neither by us nor by the AI providers we use: their business terms exclude training on our data.

What does it cost?

Prices follow when we open to everyone. You start with a free trial and you see the price before you pay anything.

Fewer evenings lost to quotes.
