How many jobs per month?
Choose your revenue target and enter how big a job is. You see how many jobs you need per month and per week, and with your own win rate how many quotes to send. Only your own numbers, no comparison with others. Everything stays in your browser.
The fields hold an example. Replace them with your own numbers.
Your revenue target
Your own hourly rate; needed to turn hours into revenue.
A job
Optional
With these two fields you also see the working days and the number of quotes.
Only needed to turn hours into working days.
Out of every 100 quotes, how many become a job? Enter your own figure.
Only in your own browser, not on our server. Unticking clears it again.
How the calculation works
You choose your own revenue target and the size of a job. The number of jobs is the target divided by what a job brings in, or the billable hours you want to work divided by the hours per job.
Example: a target of € 6,000 per month and € 750 per job gives 6,000 / 750 = 8 jobs per month, and 8 × 12 / 52 = 1.85 per week. With a win rate of 40% you send 8 / 0.40 = 20 quotes per month.
This is arithmetic on your own numbers only. Whether a target is achievable depends on your work and your market, and this calculator says nothing about that.
Frequently asked questions
How is the number of jobs calculated?
Revenue target divided by the value of a job. If you describe a job in hours, it is your billable hours per month divided by the hours per job. With a revenue target and hours per job, it is revenue divided by (hours per job × hourly rate).
Why is there a rounded-up figure?
You cannot do half a job. The number with decimals is the exact result; the rounded-up figure shows how many whole jobs or quotes you need to reach at least your target.
How does it get the number per week?
A month is a twelfth of a year and a year has 52 weeks, so per week = per month × 12 / 52.
What is the win rate?
The share of your quotes that turn into a job. That figure is yours: the calculator makes no assumptions of its own and does not compare you with anyone.
Are my numbers stored?
No. The calculation runs in your browser and your numbers never go to a server. We only count anonymously how the page is used (no cookies, no IP address). Only if you tick “Remember my input” does your own browser keep the numbers, on your own device.
Spend less time writing quotes?
Describe the job. Briefbee writes the quote in your words and at your prices; you check it and send it.
